With only 1 in 10* people preferring pineapple over any other topping, Domino’s is trying to make a big splash and tilt the scales towards pineapple love!
This International Pineapple Day (June 27) we want to get the people to get as much pineapple on pizza as their heart can handle.
We are trying to get people to copy others by creating a rigged pizza giveaway that forces them to choose pineapple on pizza.

Dear Domino’s community,
At the heart of our mission is the idea that people (liking pineapple or not) are fundamentally pizza enjoyers. We don’t say this because it sounds nice. It’s truly what we believe in.
There have been rumors and posts about the rigging of the Crown Topping vote. We are here to say today that minimal tampering was done to any of the topping selected by voters. We would never tarnish such an important global decision, by rigging an election to get people to purchase more pineapple on pizza for International Pineapple Day.
In a sweeping fashion, pineapple rose to the top out of pure people voting it as their favorite topping. Who are we to stop the people from getting what they want.
